Unless you live by yourself, you must know how many ridiculous
situations spring up when you share living space with others. You also end up
realizing certain disappointing truths –
one of the five princesses you live with does not know how to change a T.P.
roll, or cannot be bothered to do it. I don’t know which is worse.
An interesting happening from this week is the salad mystery. It would
give you the best idea why I try to keep my things in the fridge to the bare
minimum.
Last night Tiana was one very unhappy princess. She had both a salad
the day before and wanted to finish her day with a nice healthy meal, you’ll
never see me eat. Here enters the other princess involved in the mystery. Snow
White had also bought a salad, more than a week ago. So imagine how many salads
out of two were in the fridge when Tiana needed one. It’s the grand total of
zero to none. Accusations started flying in the air like bullets. Fingers were
pointed, some of them at poor innocent me. Funny, at the time I had nothing at
all to eat in the room, but chips that doesn’t need to be kept in low
temperatures. After I pulled the two princesses apart, and listened impartially
to both sides of the story, I realized that the road to Tiana’s hunger was
paved with good intentions. Both princesses threw away a salad each, but one of
them threw away a perfectly fresh one. Who did what?
I really enjoy your sense of humor in writing, keep on :)
