Let’s go Cray Cray!

I hope it doesn’t happen only in my room. I mean, it’s healthy. You need to release the pent up energy your body has stored while your mind has belabored a 14-page paper, homework, and presentation preparations. You sit and type, your spine bent in an inverse-J shape and at some point it just becomes too much. You need to let loose and just move. It always seems like the breaking point comes around 2am in the morning. Last night it was 2:06.

All three of us, Tiana, Snow White and I, had long past that breaking point. There is only one way to really satisfy your body’s urges and that is to minimize all the open windows on my laptop (my sound is the loudest), open a browser (the one I had been previously using was overflowing with tabs already), go to YouTube and play Outcast’s “Shake it.” The next step is the most important one, to follow the instructions and shake it like a Polaroid picture. All three of us jumped up from our awkward positions and really shook it for the five minutes and three seconds that the song lasts. Then we resumed our previous states of discomfort and continued studying. Weird but efficacious recipe for student survival.
